Promote Self Regulation - Kids Breathwork

This is a 45 minute session Wednesdays at 4:30 pm at Purna Yoga East 107 East First Street Clayton NC (2nd floor)

Breathwork is a valuable tool for helping children connect to their feelings and regulate their emotions. Teaching them simple breathing techniques can empower children to manage anxiety and stress more effectively. We use somatic practices to teach children how to recognize feelings, vocalize feelings, and manage their feelings. In this session we teach deep breathing exercises, belly breathing, counting breaths, and extended exhales when they feel overwhelmed or anxious.

When incorporating breathwork into their daily routine, children can develop greater self-awareness and resilience, enabling them to navigate life’s turbulences with confidence and ease.
